Working with other County departments and local government customers, the County’s IT department develops and delivers innovative, cost-effective technology solutions that aim to enhance the quality of life for the residents of the County of Santa Clara. County IT fulfills this mission by creating and managing:
- Programs and projects to improve the quality of County services and the customer experience for all local residents who access these services
- Initiatives to develop a more efficient, cost-effective and reliable County organization infrastructure through better IT asset and resource management
- Efforts to provide higher levels of security and privacy protection both to the entire County staff and to everyone who interacts with the County via IT systems
